Our Mission
Gateway is looking to build the future standard of Professional Identity. By taking advantage of Web3 principles we are building the first platform that is Native to the future of work via DAOs and providing users a decentralized user/work profile that carries with them across the ecosystem. Professional Decentralized Identity is best built via on-chain resumes, social graphs to find work/users, and allow users control over their data.
Gateway is building the future of identity.
We believe that identity should not be limited to brands/logos as it is in Web2, nor should it be a construct of self-attested and lackluster information. Let us build the future of dynamic resumes and onboarding/networking.
The most important piece is our long-term vision - and that is becoming the Web3 LinkedIn. We want to become the platform to develop your individual/DAO identity based on work, activity, and permission in the ecosystem. As a user/DAO continues to find their Identity, they will be able to build their reputation on Gateway.

Our Vision

Access

- Access is a spectrum of different permissions allotted to someone.
- Permission is a responsibility given to each individual or DAO
- For example, the ability to create discord channels, create proposals on Snapshot, etc.
Membership

- These are βrolesβ and stakeholders in a DAO and have a wide range of different possibilities.
- Individuals or other DAOs can be part of different guilds, be token holders, governance voters, alpha testers, etc.
- Memberships can be pluralistic between DAOs and within a DAO itself
- For example, you can be part of a Dev Guild for 2 DAOs and also be part of the Dev and Design Guild for the same DAO
- Similarly, DAOs can be alpha testers for multiple DAOs as well as have token or stake in another
Activity

- This is perhaps the broadest, but this quite literally encompasses everything you do on Web3 and Web2.
- Includes
-
- Social Transactions - Interactions with a set group/person and the consequences of the actions impact the overall community
- Ex: Funding a treasury to govern actions for spending from that treasury.
-
- Protocol Transactions - where you interact with a product for its specific benefits or utility.
- P2P Swaps, staking tokens, lending/borrowing, etc
-
- Conversations - These conversations are focused on the growth and governance of communities/products/protocols
-
- Contributions- you either create something or engage (without conversation) with something someone created
- Developers who build products
- Marketers who clarify/personify the vision
